The only downside of this cot is that you need to purchase a mattress separately which can push the price up even more than other models in our review. The beautiful design and ease of assembly and the ability to grow with your child are all appealing and make this cot well worth the money. Our test participants loved this cot and thought it would make a wonderful accessory to any nursery.

The John Lewis Elementary is a great choice for parents looking for a stylish, modern-looking frame that will endure the test of time. It's a bit more costly than some of the other options we've seen, but it includes a matching changing table and wardrobe making it possible to furnish your nursery in one go. Plus, it's easy to set up and has three mattress height positions so that your baby can grow into it. It also has teething rails and a drawer that neatly slips under so that you don't have to lose precious floor space.
It's important to note that you'll need to buy a separate mattress for this crib bed, so make sure to budget accordingly. A good mattress can be purchased for less than PS100.
